from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM

Macarons Gourmands, French specialist in top-quality macaroons, supplier to many catering professionals, sells directly to the public every Saturday.

• Box of 50 macaroons assortment of 10 flavours (5 of each variety) according to the products of the week and different each time.

• Little mistakes: like china or crystal, the macaroon is and extremely sensitive and capricious product. Often, up to 5% of macaroons can be 'seconds': too big, too small, cracked, etc … These macaroons, from the same production runs as the perfect ones, are sold by weight in plastic containers. One flavour, priced at about €7.00 for 350 g. (cannot be ordered in advance).

• Follies: macaroons to share amongst 4 to 6 persons, 18 cm in diameter, their composition varies according to the chef's whims and inspiration and the market. Its large diameter allows the use of textures that are unusual for a macaroon: Bavarian cream, fruit mousse, jellies, flakes, pralines and et souvent des whole fruits: raspberries, Morello cherries, apricots…

Chef's follies for June « Say it with your heart »

The tradition of celebrating Mothers' Day as we do today goes back to the early part of the last century, when this event began in the USA.

Once a year, children (as well as adults) give little presents to their mothers.
And how can you have a celebration without treats?
Pastry-makers answer this question by coming up with special cakes for the occasion.
This year, the chefs at Macarons Gourmands have created a Strawberry Heart dessert made of pink macaroon pastry sprinkled with little white, pink and red hearts, filled with vanilla Bavarian cream which conceals the strawberry puree inside.
This pleasantly light dessert also conveys a message: three sheets of decorative sugarwork are there to declare: 'Happy Mothers' Day'.
